The material we use is fade resistant and mould resistant for the expected lifespan of the material (depending on environment and conditions ).
Everything fades slowly over time if it is exposed to UV rays, wind and rain.
Is there a price difference between waterproof and shade cloth?
Yes. Waterproof can be considerably more expensive than regular shade cloth.
When should I take my shade sails down?
We recommend that you take down your shade sails in ‘high winds’ and when severe storm warnings are issued.
We do not define ‘high winds’ as it depends a lot on the age and the area of the shade sails.
Can shade sails be repaired?
Yes. We can wash, restitch and repair shade sails.
Are shade sails waterproof?
Shadecloth shade sails are not waterproof, however, we can offer alternative materials such as DRI-Z waterproof shade cloth and PVC vinyl waterproof that will make your shade sails waterproof.
Waterproof requires engineering and council approval. This is an extra cost.
Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
Yes. We are fully insured, a certificate of currency can be issued on request.
We hold a $20,000,000 Public Liability Insurance.
What are posts made from and how are they installed?
